I went through 8 attempts to get my bitch ass dog back. The start was tragic and then calling back to Quinn through the rest of the game was sad. Overall it was a fun experience!
My dog got lost in the midst of a zombie outbreak. I died to zombies in the back of the burger place. I like the variety of branches and outcomes however I would have liked more tells as to what will and won't kill me. Didn't run into any technical issues
I got a dog with my bf and named him Jerry. I raised this dog with my before we were in a terrible accident and my partner died. Jerry escaped and the world was infested with zombies. I never found Jerry, but I went to the woods and found a weird man named Jerry and things went bad. Very bad. But also funny. Very funny.
No major issues though there were a number of spelling and punctuation issues throughout. Please make sure to have someone else go through your work with the specific goal of weeding this stuff out.
It was really enjoyable. I appreciated the way it was written and the also the humor was very effective. I'm still trying to resolve what feels like a first half (me and bf) and the second half (me and jerry + zombies). I suspected that I was being set up to meet Quinn again but then felt disappointed that I didn't. Some of the endings were really abrupt, right from the beginning, which didn't always feel satisfying (mostly because I was enjoying the writing and humor so much).
There were many memorable moments but my favorite was probably this passage which went something like:
The moon looks so pretty tonight Drive Quinn is humming quietly Drive I'm so tired Drive
I thought the delivery and pacing of that section was really wonderful. Good work!
I like how many paths there are in this game, there is a lot of content. I had to try a bunch of times to get very far because there are a lot of endings along the way, so maybe if you could add like a "go back to previous choice" on some of the earlier endings it would be smoother than having to start from the very beginning? I never found Jerry :( but i liked all the names of things and i like the intro you added
I really enjoyed this game! I played through a couple of times but wasn't able to find Jerry :( Really wanna try to though!! I liked being able to choose what kind of dog it was, as I was able to make it like mine irl (a chihuahua!) which helped with my immersion :D!! I feel like there were a bit more warning signs before you're about to die, as it got a little frustrating that I would walk in somewhere and instantly die. Overall though, the concept is really intriguing and I like it :D

Didn't find Jerry. Loved the dog selection it made me get super attached to my dog. Didn't run into anything that broke the game.
